Great start to the year and we have found no less than 6 new single track runs. Fast and flowing or highly rocky and one particular trail with over 40 switchbacks. We never seem to get over how many great mountain bike trails there are in this part of Spain.

Its getting hot out there on the trails, but with with temperatures in the shade at around 25 degrees the mountain biking is still good.
Perfect weather for our swimming pool, which is great for a post ride cool down.
I took the chance to head for the unspoiled coast of the Costa del la Luz and a change of scene. Country side meets the sea with rolling hills and laid back beach side trails.

Definitely feeling the cooler temperatures now with daytimes about 15 – 20 degrees. The nights and mornings are pretty chilly and the open fires are all being put to good use.

October was a pretty epic month of mountain biking. Over 30,000 meters of climbing and descending and over 1,000km of trails ridden. Four derailleur hangers lost to the rocks and one complete derailleur destroyed.
